How do I get to the meeting point?

The take-off point is in Teotihuacan, State of Mexico. If you choose a package with transportation, you depart from Mexico City. We send you the exact coordinates once your booking is confirmed.

What time do the balloons take off?

Flights take off at sunrise. We ask you to arrive about 30 minutes early for check-in and balloon preparation. The full experience lasts around 3 to 4 hours.

Is hot air ballooning safe?

Yes. We work with certified pilots and passenger insurance is included in every flight. Safety is our top priority.

What happens if the weather does not allow flying?

Your flight is rescheduled at no cost. Weather safety always comes first, so we simply move your flight to another available date.

Can I take photos or video on board?

Yes. You are welcome to bring your camera or phone on board to capture the sunrise and the views of the pyramids.

Is the flight suitable for couples, families and birthdays?

Absolutely. Our flights are ideal for couples and romantic occasions, families, birthdays and groups. We have specific packages for each.

Do I need ID to fly in a hot air balloon?

Yes. Every passenger must present a valid government-issued photo ID to complete check-in at the We Fly Teotihuacan reception desk on the day of the flight. It is required to register you under the travel insurance policy that covers the flight: without proof of identity we cannot add you to it. International travelers can use their passport or the official ID issued in their own country. The person who made the booking must present ID matching the name on the booking. Minors do not need their own ID: they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who presents ID and signs on their behalf. Passengers who cannot present ID will not be allowed to board, but they may reschedule their flight, subject to availability and our date-change policy.
